The Wellington Group has been engaged to find an experienced Director of Brand Management – Food for a large retail food chain. Excellent opportunity to help manage the menu and services in a great organization with a well known Brand!
The Director of Brand Management – Food is a key role in the development, implementation and ongoing management of the Brand Management discipline for the organization.
Director of Brand Management – Food responsibilities include:
- Overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously and will need to operate at both a detailed, analytical level, as well as a broad, strategic level
- Responsible for driving sales and profits through Brand Marketing plans
- Developing plans for the growth of the Brand, by implementing the strategic direction of the menu and other business aspects related to Brand development and Brand Awareness
- Developing and implement strategies and programs that support the overall Brand Marketing strategy
- Use brand, industry and consumer information resources to identify business issues and opportunities to develop strategic programming recommendations to achieve brand goals.
- Lead and manage designated brand initiatives
- Develop objectives, spearhead programs across multiple groups
- Ability to take consumer insights and translate them into actionable consumer driven marketing plans
- Develop and implement tools and techniques to enhance brand strategy excellence
The qualified Director of Brand Management – Food candidate will have:
- Restaurant industry, QSR or foodservice, major brand compliance is ideal
- 4-year degree required, MBA preferred
- Must have a keen understanding of the external environment, including: General trends impacting brands and the business, Competitive insight, Strong consumer understand
- Strong leader of people, able to manage and collaboratively in task force teams
- Proactively identify issues and opportunities
- Proven success in creative thinking and problem solving
