Sr Manager Business Development BFSI

TWG Recruiters is seeking a driven and passionate sales leader for a Sr Manager Business Development BFSI role in NYC. This critical position requires a track record with both successful new deals and net new revenues and strong account management in the banking, financial services, payments and fintech domain. You will build new market share and bring forward technology innovations to enterprise clients with a first-class, high-touch mindset while supporting and mentoring top-level sales professionals.

Sr Manager Business Development BFSI Overview:

  • Offers leadership to obtain maximum sales revenues and attainment of corporate objectives
  • Oversee sales strategy within the region, train staff, set quotas, and allocate resources to ensure revenue targets are achieved
  • Acquires clear understanding of customer environments and builds customer in which the company can impact, enhance, and optimize their business activities
  • Allocates priorities to business opportunities and creates account plans and sales strategies with funnel forecast and revenue growth precision
  • Cultivates high-level relationships and implement strategies to expand the market position for prime accounts 
  • Using consultative strategic approach, successfully position new solutions and concepts to drive new business
  • Advances detailed account strategy for existing accounts in portfolio to meet long-term account needs
  • Own and manage entire sales cycles to implement on sales strategies, working cross-functionally to drive high customer satisfaction

Sr Manager Business Development BFSI qualifications include:

  • 10+ years prior experience selling solutions in the Fortune 500 space
  • 7-10 years in the telecom, networking, and wireless industry 
  • 4+ years in managing teams and sales implementations
  • Able to create opportunities for new sales while continuing to review account strategy for existing accounts
  • Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with a customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction and increase revenues
  • Proven capability in identifying, developing and typically closing new sales opportunities
  • Strong acumen for the telecom and connected devices industry
  • Experience selling into the financial services and banking vertical at the C-Level for enterprise solutions 
  • Experience with fortune level contracts, contract negotiations, legal engagement and onboarding new accounts or new areas of existing accounts
  • Produce and present convincing and persuasive content to present to C-level executives, both in person and virtually as needed to close more client partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to travel or to host client meetings and events
  • Ideal if experienced with strong Salesforce and Microsoft Suite of company tools (MS Teams)
