Procurement Manager – Dairy – FILLED
The Wellington Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager – Dairy – for a Global Leader in Dairy innovation products. In this role you will lead the strategic development, execution and monitoring of bulk cheese sourcing.
Responsibilities Include:
- This position will be responsible for the optimization of bulk cost, quality and service.
- You will work closely with Operations, Sales and Supply Chain to drive improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- This position will provide leadership support to multiple production facilities.
- The role will also be responsible for monitoring global dairy markets and providing risk management support to both internal and external customers.
- This will include the execution of initiatives such as forward buys and CME dairy market hedges to optimize the results for customers.
- Finally, this role will drive year-over-year improvement with our suppliers focused on cost reduction and quality enhancement.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- At least 5 years of Procurement Experience
- A food and beverage background
- Experience with forward buys and hedging
- BS in food science, business, or other related discipline
